What it does

This lets you control your devices even when the internet is down. As long as your Wi-Fi router is ON, your lights, fans, and plugs keep working through your local Wi-Fi.

How to use it

  1. Go to Devices.
  2. At the top, tap the Cloud OFF icon.
  3. Tap OK to turn on Offline Mode.
  4. Your devices now work locally through your Wi-Fi, even with no internet.

Why this matters

Internet can fail anytime โ€” but your home should not stop. Offline Mode keeps your appliances working as long as the router is ON.

Real-life examples

What it does

You can change the order in which your rooms appear, so your most-used rooms are at the top. No more scrolling.

How to use it

  1. Go to Devices.
  2. On the top bar, tap the three-lines (โ‰ก) icon.
  3. Press and hold the three-lines next to any room.
  4. Drag it up or down to change the order.
  5. Tap Save.

Why this matters

Every home is different. Putting your most-used rooms on top makes daily control faster and saves you from unnecessary scrolling.

Real-life example

  • Your most-used rooms are Living Room, Bedroom, and Kitchen, but the app shows Store Room and Guest Room on top. You drag your three main rooms to the top and Save. Now they are always one tap away.

This is perfect for:

  • Large homes with many rooms
  • Villas, duplexes, and apartments
  • Elderly users who want rooms in a simple order
  • Faster daily access for kids and family

What it does

This locks just one room (not the whole home). After locking, if anyone operates a physical switch in that room by hand, you get an instant Intrusion Alert. It does not block any controls โ€” it only warns you about manual operation.

How to use it

  1. Open the app and go to Devices (bottom menu).
  2. On the room card, tap the Lock icon.
  3. The room is now locked โ€” all switches in that room are watched.
  4. Any manual operation sends you an Intrusion Alert.

Important to know

  • This feature is only to detect manual operation.
  • If anyone presses a wall switch while Room Lock is ON, you get an alert at once.
  • No other actions are blocked. You and others can still control other devices normally.

Real-life example

  • You leave for the office after setting your automation. The house help comes for cleaning and switches ON all lights, fans, and AC while moving room to room. With Room Lock on the Living Room, the moment a switch is pressed you get: "Intrusion Alert โ€” Someone operated Living Room Switch." You know unnecessary devices are running and can turn them off remotely.

What it does

With one tap, you turn OFF every light, fan, and appliance in a room. No need to switch off each one.

How to use it

  1. Open the app and go to Devices.
  2. On the room card, tap the OFF icon.
  3. Tap Switch OFF to confirm.
  4. All connected appliances in that room turn OFF at once.

Why this matters

Going switch-by-switch wastes time. One tap shuts down the whole room, saves energy, and keeps your routine fast.

Real-life example

  • You are leaving the bedroom in a hurry for the office. Fan ON, night lamp ON, mirror light ON. Instead of hunting for each switch, you tap the room's OFF icon and the entire bedroom shuts down instantly.

This is perfect for:

  • Leaving home quickly
  • Kids forgetting to switch off lights
  • Geyser or plug loads left ON
  • Managing many rooms in villas and duplexes

What it does

Each room card shows small coloured dots that give you an instant snapshot of that room's switches โ€” without opening it.

What the dots mean

  • ๐ŸŸข Green Dot โ€” How many switches are currently ON in that room.
  • โšช White Dot โ€” The total number of switches available in the room.
  • ๐Ÿ”ด Red Dot โ€” How many switches are currently OFF.

How to use it

  1. Go to Devices.
  2. Look at each room card โ€” the dots show you live activity at a glance.

Real-life example

  • You look at the Devices page and the Kitchen card shows a green dot saying "3 ON." You know three appliances are still running in the kitchen and can turn them off without going inside.

What it does

Grouping lets you control many lights as if they were one. You can turn them ON/OFF, dim them, or change their colour โ€” all together with one tap.

How to use it

  1. Go to Devices.
  2. Tap the 3-bulb icon at the bottom (Group).
  3. Tap Create a Group.
  4. Tap Group Name and enter a name (for example, Hall COB Lights, Bedroom Ambience, Living Room All Lights).
  5. Select Assign to Room.
  6. Tap Switch Type and choose the kind of group:
  • ON/OFF Group
  • Color Lighting Group
  • Dimmer / Regulator Group
  1. If you chose Color Lighting, select all the lights you want in the group (for example, your hall COB lights).
  2. Tap Save.
  3. Now you can ON/OFF, dim, or change the colour of all grouped lights together with one tap.

Why this matters

Many homes have several lights in one area. Grouping makes them behave like a single light, so you set the mood instantly without touching each one.

Real-life example

  • For movie night your hall has 4 COB lights, 1 LED strip, and a downlight. Instead of adjusting each one, you tap your "Movie Mode Lights" group โ€” all COBs dim together, the strip turns warm, and the downlight switches off. One tap, perfect ambience.

What it does

When you add a Zigbee Gateway and pair Zigbee devices to it, the app finds them automatically and places them inside the room you selected. You manage all your Zigbee sensors and controllers from one place.

  • Newly paired devices appear at once inside the selected room in the Devices section.

How to use it

  1. Open the app.
  2. Add and set up the Zigbee Gateway.
  3. Pair the Zigbee devices you want.
  4. Once pairing is done, the devices are automatically placed in the room you selected.
  5. Tap Devices and open the room to see and manage all connected Zigbee devices.

Real-life example

  • You install a Zigbee Gateway in the hall and pair a door sensor, a motion sensor, and a temperature sensor. Without any manual setup, all three show up neatly inside the rooms you chose, ready to use.

What it does

This watches a door and sends you a notification if the door stays open longer than the time you set. It helps with both safety and saving energy.

How to set it up

  1. Open the app and tap Devices.
  2. Select the room where the door sensor is installed.
  3. Tap the Door Sensor.
  4. Open Settings.
  5. Set the Door Open Alert Duration (how long the door can stay open before you get an alert).
  6. Save the settings.

After this, the app will alert you on its own if the door stays open beyond the set time.

Real-life examples

  • Your main door is fitted with a sensor. If it stays open for more than 2 minutes, you get an alert โ€” useful if a child leaves it open after coming home.
  • Your AC is running in the bedroom, but the balcony door is left open. The alert reminds you to close it so cool air isn't wasted.

What it does

This Zigbee sensor does more than spot motion โ€” it senses whether a person is present in a room, keeps a history of events, lets you adjust how sensitive it is, and sends alerts. It is great for automation and monitoring.

Key points

  • View past occupancy and motion events (history).
  • Set the Occupancy Timeout โ€” how long the room is treated as "occupied" after movement stops.
  • Adjust the detection sensitivity to suit different rooms.

Real-life examples

  • You put a presence sensor in the study. When you sit still reading, normal motion sensors would switch the light off โ€” but the presence sensor knows you are there and keeps the light ON.
  • You set a WhatsApp alert for presence in the pooja room during the day while you're at work, so you know if someone has entered.

What it does

This Zigbee sensor detects movement or tampering and alerts you. Stick it on doors, windows, cabinets, safes, or valuables. It keeps an event history and can alert you by app, WhatsApp, and email.

Key points

  • View vibration event history with date and time.
  • Adjust the sensitivity (0 = highest sensitivity, 50 = lowest sensitivity).
  • Set the vibration timeout โ€” how long the alarm state stays active.
  • Get notifications for:

  • You fix a vibration sensor on your cupboard where you keep jewellery. If anyone tries to open or shake it while you're away, you get an instant alert.
  • You stick one on the main gate. Any knocking or tampering at night triggers a WhatsApp alert to your phone.

This Zigbee sensor watches for movement in a room, keeps an event history, and sends alerts. It is useful both for security and for triggering automations.

  • You place a motion sensor in the corridor. At night, when anyone walks past, the corridor light turns on automatically (using a workflow).
  • While on holiday, you set motion alerts. If the sensor sees movement inside the house, you get an immediate notification.

This Zigbee water valve lets you control water flow, watch the valve status live, protect against water shortage, and set up automatic watering for your plants or garden.

  • View valve status, flow rate, and water shortage conditions in real time.

  • You keep a Panic Button next to your elderly father's bed. If he feels unwell at night, one press sends an alert to your phone and turns on the bedroom and hall lights, so you can reach him quickly.

What it does

Home Sync is a bridge device. It lets your supported smart devices work with Apple HomeKit, so you can control them through the Apple Home app and with Siri voice commands.

How to set up Home Sync

Step 1 โ€” Connect the Home Sync device

  1. Connect Home Sync to your PoE switch or router using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Power it using the USB Type-C port.
  3. Wait until the device fully powers on.

Step 2 โ€” Connect Home Sync in the app

  1. Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as Home Sync.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Devices.
  5. Tap the "+" icon.
  6. Search for Home Sync.
  7. Select and connect the Home Sync device.

Step 3 โ€” Add devices to Home Sync

  1. After Home Sync connects, the app shows all compatible smart devices.
  2. Select the devices you want to use with Apple HomeKit.
  3. Tap Done.

Add Home Sync to Apple Home

  1. Open the Apple Home app.
  2. Tap "+" โ†’ Add Accessory.
  3. Scan or add the Home Sync accessory.
  4. Complete the pairing.
  5. Once paired, all devices linked to Home Sync appear in the Apple Home app.

Real-life example

  • Your family uses iPhones. After setting up Home Sync, you simply say "Hey Siri, turn off the hall lights" and they switch off โ€” your Beakn devices now work with Apple Home and Siri.
