Real homes, real moments

How customers use Home Page.

๐ŸŒ…

You live in a flat in Hyderabad and also own a shop in the same city. In the morning you open the app on "Home" to switch off the bedroom AC, then tap "Shop" to switch on the shop shutter light โ€” all from one app.

๐Ÿ”’

Your parents stay in your native town. You added their home too. From your flat in Bangalore, you tap "Parents Home" and turn on their water motor before they wake up.

โšก

You just bought a new smart fan controller for the bedroom. You are already on the Home Page, so you simply tap "+" at the top and add it then and there, without going into any menu.

๐Ÿ’ก

You don't want your phone buzzing every time an automation runs, but you do want to know about security problems. So you switch off "Automations" and keep "Security" ON.

What it does

If you have added more than one home in the app โ€” like your house, your office, or your parents' home โ€” you can move from one to another in seconds. The app always shows one home at a time.

How to use it

  1. Open the app. You will land on the Home Page.
  2. Look at the top bar โ€” it shows all the homes you have added.
  3. Tap the home you want (for example, Home, Office, or Shop).
  4. Tap Enter. The app switches to that home at once.

Real-life examples

  • You live in a flat in Hyderabad and also own a shop in the same city. In the morning you open the app on "Home" to switch off the bedroom AC, then tap "Shop" to switch on the shop shutter light โ€” all from one app.
  • Your parents stay in your native town. You added their home too. From your flat in Bangalore, you tap "Parents Home" and turn on their water motor before they wake up.

What it does

The app sends you alerts on your phone so you always know what is happening at home. You can choose which alerts you want and switch off the ones you don't need.

The 5 types of alerts you can get

  1. Security Alerts โ€” Tells you about intrusions or any unwanted activity on your devices.
  2. Device Management Updates โ€” Tells you when a device is added, removed, or changed.
  3. Home Management Updates โ€” Tells you when a new user or guest is added to your home.
  4. Automations & Workflows โ€” Tells you when an automation or workflow runs and finishes.
  5. Support & System Alerts โ€” Important app messages, errors, or support-related replies.

How to use it

  1. Open the alerts settings (you can also manage these from Settings โ†’ Profile โ†’ Preferences).
  2. Turn Receive Notifications ON or OFF โ€” this is the master switch for all alerts.
  3. Use Filter Notifications to switch each type ON or OFF on its own:
  • Home Management
  • Security
  • Device Management
  • Automations
  • Support & System
  • Workflow Triggered

Real-life examples

  • You don't want your phone buzzing every time an automation runs, but you do want to know about security problems. So you switch off "Automations" and keep "Security" ON.
  • You gave a guest login to your house help. With "Home Management" alerts ON, you get a message the moment a new user is added โ€” so you always know who has access.

What it does

The Home Page shows you how much electricity your whole home is using today, in easy-to-read units. (This needs a power monitoring device installed.)

How to use it

  1. Open the Home Page.
  2. You will see the energy graph for the full home, with an hour-by-hour breakdown for today.
  3. Tap the graph to see usage by day, week, or month.

Enhanced Power Analytics โ€” see all devices or just one

You can look at the total power of the whole home, or check one device at a time.

  1. Open the app and go to the Home Page.
  2. Tap All Devices above the power graph.
  3. Pick one power monitoring device to see only its usage โ€” or keep All Devices selected to see everything together.

Real-life examples

  • Your electricity bill felt high last month. You tap the graph, switch to "Monthly" view, and quickly see that usage jumped in the evenings โ€” when the AC runs most.
  • You want to know how much only the geyser line is costing. You tap "All Devices," pick the geyser's power meter, and see its usage on its own.

What it does

This gives you a quick count of your switches โ€” how many are working, ON, and OFF โ€” without opening each room.

What it shows

  • Unreachable Devices โ€” the total number of devices not responding right now.
  • Turned ON Devices โ€” how many switches are currently ON.
  • Turned OFF Devices โ€” how many switches are currently OFF.

Current Switch Status (in detail)

  • ๐Ÿ”ด Unreachable โ€” Shows the number of switches that are not responding. This can happen if a switch was reset, is powered OFF, or has lost the network.
  • ๐ŸŸข Turned ON โ€” Shows the total number of switches that are ON right now.
  • โšช Turned OFF โ€” Shows the total number of switches that are OFF right now.

How to use it

  1. Open the Home Page.
  2. Read the status summary โ€” it updates on its own to show your live device activity.

Real-life examples

  • Before sleeping, you glance at the Home Page and see "5 Turned ON." You realise the balcony and bathroom lights are still on, so you switch them off from the app.
  • One morning you see "2 Unreachable." You check and find the kitchen switch lost Wi-Fi after a power cut โ€” so you know to reconnect it.

What it does

Shortcuts put your most-used scenes, switches, and remotes right on the Home Page. You don't have to open each room โ€” everything is one tap away.

The 3 types of shortcuts

  • Scene Shortcuts โ€” Run a full scene (many devices at once) with one tap.
  • Switch Shortcuts โ€” Quick ON/OFF for your favourite switches.
  • Remote Shortcuts โ€” Instant access to your AC or TV remote.

How to create a shortcut

  1. Open the Home Page.
  2. Choose one option: Scene Shortcuts, Switch Shortcuts, or Remote Shortcuts.
  3. Tap the "+" icon.
  4. Select the scene, switch, or remote you want.
  5. It appears on the Home Page at once.

Add a Scene Shortcut

  1. Tap Scene Shortcuts โ†’ +.
  2. Select the scene you want.
  3. The scene is added for one-tap use.

Add a Switch Shortcut

  1. Tap Switch Shortcuts โ†’ +.
  2. Select the switches you use often.
  3. They appear as quick tiles on the Home Page.

Add a Remote Shortcut

  1. Tap Remote Shortcuts โ†’ +.
  2. Select your AC, TV, or Set-Top Box remote.
  3. The remote is now available on the Home Page.

Real-life example โ€” Morning Routine

Instead of opening many rooms every morning, you set up:

  • Bedroom Lights โ†’ Switch Shortcut
  • TV / AC โ†’ Remote Shortcut
  • "Good Morning" โ†’ Scene Shortcut

Now your whole morning routine sits on the Home Page, and you control it with one tap each.

What it does

With one tap, you lock your whole home and the app starts watching for any activity. If someone touches your switches or a sensor or camera notices movement, you get an instant alert. This is perfect for when you leave the house.

How to turn on Home Lock

  1. Open the app.
  2. On the Home Page, tap the Lock icon (bottom-right).
  3. Tap Lock Home.

Your home is now in Security Mode.

Key features of Home Lock

  • Intrusion Alerts โ€” You get an instant alert if any switch or device is operated by hand while the home is locked.
  • Disable Schedules & Automations (optional) โ€” You can pause all your schedules and automations until you unlock the home.
  • Total Shutdown (optional) โ€” Turn OFF every device with one tap. The devices stay OFF even after you unlock.
  • Camera Alerts โ€” You get an alert when a connected camera sees motion.
  • Sensor Alerts โ€” You get an alert when a motion or presence sensor detects activity.

Subscription Alerts (optional)

  • WhatsApp Alerts โ€” Get intrusion alerts on WhatsApp.
  • Email Alerts โ€” Get intrusion alerts by email.

How it works (real scenario)

Before leaving your home:

  1. Tap the Lock icon โ†’ Lock Home.

Once locked:

  • Any manual action โ€” like someone turning ON a light, fan, or curtain โ€” sends you an alert.
  • You receive a clear message such as: "Someone is manually operating Bedroom Lights."

Real-life examples

  • You leave for the office and tap Lock Home. At 11 a.m. your phone shows "Someone operated Hall Switch." You weren't expecting anyone โ€” so you call home and check.
  • Going out of town for two days, you turn on Home Lock with Total Shutdown, so every appliance is OFF and stays OFF, and you also get WhatsApp alerts if anything is touched.

What it does

If you have sensors installed, their live readings show right on the Home Page. You don't have to open each room to check them.

How to use it

  1. Open the Home Page.
  2. Scroll up to see the sensor readings for each room.
  3. You can view live values like temperature, humidity, gas, or motion, based on the sensors you have.

Real-life examples

  • On a humid Chennai afternoon, you scroll up and see the bedroom is at 34ยฐC with high humidity, so you switch on the AC before reaching home.
  • You keep a gas sensor in the kitchen. A quick look at the Home Page shows the gas level is normal โ€” peace of mind at a glance.

What it does

This lets you reach your most-watched TV channels straight from the Home screen, without going through the full remote.

Key points

  • One-Tap Access โ€” Switch to a favourite channel instantly, without scrolling the remote.
  • Personalized Selection โ€” Add and manage channels based on what you like to watch.
  • Seamless Integration โ€” Works with your set-up IR remote / TV for smooth control.

How to use it

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Scroll to Favourite Channels.
  3. Tap any channel icon.
  4. Your TV switches to that channel at once.

Real-life example

  • Your father watches the same news and devotional channels every day. You add them as Favourite Channels, so he just taps the icon on the Home Page instead of remembering channel numbers.
